When submitting unusual items, for online evaluation, appraisal we need:
1) Provenance: The item's history and where you obtained it from.
2) Measurements/dimensions in either inches or centimeters.
3) Digital photographs giving the front view and back view.
When performing an online evaluation, appraisal, of unusual objects we try our best. As you can imagine often there is not much information in order to arrive at a solid value. Take for instance the above half bushel measure, which was the official measure for New Brunswick in 1854, wherein there are no auction records to make a comparision to.
Generally, when dealing with such unique items it comes down to quality and the appraisers gut feelings. So please when giving an unique object for online evaluation, appraisal, describe the object as best as you can, as well as provide us with good quality picture and its measurements.
As with all on-line evaluations, appraisals, the more of the above informations that you provide, the more accurate our onlineevaluation, appraisal will be.
